Fieldcraft is the art of living and working in the 'field', it consists of several aspects including camp craft and navigation. This activity also has a large military aspect, and training is undertaken in camouflage and concealment as well as patrol skills and many more.

All training is undertaken by subject experts on the squadron and within the Wing, ensuring the highest level of training. Each year cadets have the opportunity to attend Exercise Martello Marauder, a week-long Fieldcraft camp in Kent.

Cadets who have leadership potential can complete the ultimate course on offer to cadets, Junior Leaders which uses the infantry environment as a method of teaching and assessing leadership.
